Our Story

In February of 1964, Fulkerson Plumbing was established on a foundation of Christian values and a hard work ethic.   Rayford Fulkerson purchased a small company on East McGaffey in Roswell, NM and with one truck and his friendly smile he proudly fixed leaky faucets and unclogged stopped drains.  He grew his business one satisfied customer at a time, back when records were kept in handwritten ledgers.

As the years progressed and the company grew, Fulkerson added Air Conditioning and Heating Services when Danny decided to join his dad in business in 1976.  More satisfied customers, and increased business prompted the company to relocate to West Second in 1990.  Upon Rayford’s retirement in 1992 after 25 dedicated years of hard work, determination, and success, he left the company in the hands of his son, Danny Fulkerson who had already begun his leadership and business development within the company.

After Rayford’s death in January of 2004, the entire company fleet lined the parking lot at his funeral services to commemorate the life of a man who lived for God first, invested in his family, and honored others in actions, word, and deed, and in return successfully lived the American dream.

Danny has taken the company into the 21st century, reaching new goals and building his family’s business with the same fervor and strength shown by his father. His priorities of  God and  family first have never wavered, and his community service focus continued.

Braxton, Danny’s son,  joined him in business in 2006, and together they have forged ahead embracing the newest technological advances in the industry. Through it all, they have remained steady in their committment to maintain a classic work ethic, and quality customer service.
